Antonio De Lima was born and raised in Peru. From and early age he displayed a heavy inclination towards the arts participating in school plays and musicals. He attended the prestigious Collegium Musicum where he learned to play the piano and sing. Antonio was a member of the Lima Boys’ Choir and the ‘Coral de Lima’ performing along with the National Philharmonic Orchestra.
His passion for acting developed after watching The Godfather trilogy in one sitting. After that, there would be no going back. Antonio moved to L.A. and trained at UCLA and at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting, in addition to taking numerous classes and workshops. His approach to acting is a summation of everything he has absorbed.
Antonio is currently based in Amsterdam and L.A. His Hollywood credits include This is Us (NBC), Promised Land (ABC), The Bold and the Beautiful (CBS) and Ultra Violet & Black Scorpion (Disney). Major European credits include a supporting role in the award-winning Dutch television series Mocro Maffia and another in the action thriller Greenland: Migration starring Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarin soon to open in theaters worldwide.
The multi-cultural experience Antonio has acquired from living in three continents has enriched his human understanding and broadened his perspective, a sensibility he brings naturally into his performances.
Antonio is fluent in English and Spanish and has a working knowledge of Italian and Portuguese. During his free time, you’ll most likely find Antonio either playing the piano, visiting museums or enjoying Peruvian food.
